Everything included

Eight things you would otherwise buy, build or do by hand. All of it, from day one.

  • The Booked-While-You-Work Website

Your own booking site with a live calendar, on your own domain. Renters pick dates, sign and pay from their phone.

Elsewhere: $1,500 to have built, $30/mo to host

  • The Never-Chase-A-Renter Texts

Confirmation, pickup instructions with the lockbox code, return reminder and escalating late notices, all sent for you.

Elsewhere: $150/mo on a texting tool, plus your evenings

  • The Deposit-Proof Agreement

E-signed rental agreement with license photo and insurance capture, plus photo inspections at pickup and return.

    Elsewhere: $400 for a lawyer's template, $20/mo to e-sign

  • Money That Collects Itself

Card and Apple Pay checkout, deposit holds, automatic late fees, damage charges to the card on file, payouts to your bank.

Elsewhere: Hours a month of awkward phone calls

  • The Review Machine

A Google review request goes out the day after every clean return. Reviews are what the next renter reads.

Elsewhere: $99/mo on a review tool

  • Your Numbers

Utilization, revenue by month, repeat renters and what's already booked ahead, in one page.

Elsewhere: A spreadsheet you'd never keep up

  • The Right-Truck Check

Hitch, plug, tow rating and payload on every trailer. Renters confirm their vehicle fits before they book, and pick a pickup time from your hours if you run by appointment.

    Elsewhere: One wrong-truck Saturday

  • Your Phone Already Knows

A text when a booking lands, a renter extends or a trailer goes late, and every pickup and return in your phone's calendar with the renter's details.

Elsewhere: $40/mo on a scheduling app

Roughly $2,000 to set up and $300 a month to run, pieced together. Here: $0 until it has booked you $2,000.

The guarantee

Paid before you pay.

You don't pay a cent until HitchPilot has already put $2,000 of bookings in your account. If it never does, you never pay. We can afford to say that because it works: it runs a real fleet in Louisiana today.

Straight answers

Is there really no monthly fee?

No. HitchPilot takes 4% of each online card booking after your first $2,000, and never more than $199 in a month. Nothing else.

What about bookings I take by phone or at pickup?

Free. The fee only applies to card payments taken through your website.

Who holds the money?

You do. Renters pay into your own Stripe account and Stripe pays out to your bank; our 4% comes out automatically.

What if I want to stop?

Stop any time. There's no contract, and your Stripe account is yours to keep.

What do I actually have to do?

Add each trailer (a photo, a price, a deposit; about two minutes each), connect your bank on Stripe (five minutes), and share your link. That's the whole job. Everything after that runs by itself.
